Written Exam
We are glad to offer the following Transport Canada written examinations including all the applicable supplementary examinations at our facilities at Pitt Meadows Airport:

FAA Conversion – Private Pilot License – Aeroplane (FAAPA)
FAA Conversion – Private Pilot License – Helicopter (FAAPH)
FAA conversion candidates must show proof of the following at the time of the examination:
Applicant Identity (Passport, etc.)
Canadian Medical (NOT FAA Medical)
FAA Equivalent temporary or permanent license
Before scheduling the written examination with our team, please ensure that you meet the admission requirements as per Canadian Aviation Regulations 421.13.

Written examinations can be scheduled through our online scheduling system. Spots are subject to availability. Please click below to view our availability for your requested exam:
A refundable C$100 deposit is required to reserve the spots which will be credited towards your final bill. If you require to cancel or reschedule your written exam, please get in touch with our team 24 hours in advance. The deposit payment is not refundable in case of late rescheduling or cancellations.
Once you have selected the date and time for the exam, our team will contact you to collect the deposit payment.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment to allow ample time for the required paperwork. You may bring the following items with you on the day of the exam:
Pencil – HB
Basic Calculator - Alpha Key/STO/storage/memory is NOT allowed;
Flight Crew Electronic Computer – please review the attached link
Ruler – if an ICAO Aviation ruler, the back side must be covered;
Protractor
Scrap papers will be provided before the examination.
No electronic devices such as portable telephones, iPods, pagers, electronic planners, wristwatches with notepad capabilities, etc. are allowed in the room during the writing of examinations.
No reference material shall be allowed into the room during the writing of an examination. This includes instruction manuals associated with any of the approved hand-held electronic calculators or flight computers. Dictionaries are not allowed in the examination room.
Please bring all documentation required for admission to the exam as applicable (medical, recommendation, etc.), including an official government-issued photo ID that displays your signature.
